Making the Right Choice for You.
Choosing a new sofa isn’t something you do every day and yet making the right decision for you and your home is so important.

You want your new sofa to be stylish, good looking and supremely comfortable however you also need to know that it’s practical, well made, hard-wearing, easily cared for and that it’s right for you. And, whilst the price may not be at the top of your list of sofa priorities, ensuring you get great value really should be!
Impossibly Cheap or Obscenely Expensive?
These days, almost every furniture shop in the land seems to have leather or fabric sofas for sale. Prices range from the impossibly cheap to the obscenely expensive. And when so many of these sofas look the same, in spite of the different prices, how do you really know which ones offer you the best value and are best for you?

Asking The Right Questions
Our aim here is to assist you in making a decision that’s right for you. Here we seek to provide you with some of the most important questions you should be asking when you’re thinking about buying your new sofa.

Regardless of your budget, we at Olympian believe there are certain things you need to know before you buy. You need to be happy with your sofa and to be confident that you’re making the right choice - it’s an investment in your home and your comfort after all.

Test-Drive Your Sofa
If you were buying a new car, you’d want to know that it was safe and that it had a warranty. You'd also want to know how it should perform after you’d driven it for 60,000 miles. We appreciate you can’t drive your new sofa down the Motorway but we believe you should still know how it’s going to perform over time and what to expect!

And whether you choose to buy a sofa from Olympian Furniture or from somewhere else, what matters most is for you to buy a sofa that’s right for you.

Getting The Right Answers
So, only by asking the right questions and getting the answers can you really be in a position to make an educated and informed decision on what is right. Any self-respecting, professional salesperson should be sufficiently knowledgeable about the products they are selling to be able to give you the answers you seek.

And if they aren’t and can’t, then maybe you should seek your answers elsewhere?!

We encourage you to ask the following questions and to evaluate the answers. To weigh up the pro’s and con’s and to make an informed choice. Only then will you know which sofa and which furniture company is right for you and your home.

Our Promise To You
At Olympian Furniture we don’t set out to be all things to all people. We have a small selection of sofas which we select because we believe they’re fabulous and because they offer the best all round value for money. We don’t promise to have a sofa that’s right for you; we may have one and we hope we do but until we know what you want we can’t be certain of this.

What we can promise is that we’ll always give you honest answers to your questions, that we’ll be polite, professional and attentive and that we’ll remain focused on you and your needs and on you finding a sofa that’s right for you.

So, having said all of this, here below are the questions we think you need to ask. We hope you find them helpful and that you get the answers you're looking for.
And we wish you every success in finding your dream sofa. You are of course welcome to contact us with any of your questions at any time and we’re always more than happy to provide you with our answers. Or drop in to see us in-store. We're open every day, the coffee is always on and the welcome is always friendly. Good Luck!
